Dianne De Battista

Dianne is a highly accomplished artist, with over 30 years experience as a performer, choreographer and educator. Her wealth of knowledge has led her to develop an exceptional dance program. A Contemporary Dance specialist, she trained and performed in New York at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance. Living and dancing in New York in the early 1990s was a special time for Dianne, being part of the historic Contemporary arts culture and movement. Dianne completed further studies in London, New Zealand and across Australia. Dianne is a qualified teacher who has taught in mainstream and specialist schools, this inspired her to marry her two passions- dance and education.   She focuses on each and every student’s individual dance journey by providing a holistic dance experience and education.  Her philosophy is to encourage students to find a way to express themselves through dance and movement; to communicate feelings and emotions through movement rather than words; and to improve physical strength and mobility in a creative setting. She believes in connecting movement/dance with inner passion and joy.  Dianne sees the potential in every student, and inspires them to flourish in performance, and in life.
