What is the class content?

Hip-hop developed from several music genres, which include jazz, rock and Latin. Hip-hop is a very energetic and modern form of dancing. Hip-hop has a unique style that allows its dancers to perform with freedom of movement, which gives them a stronger platform to showcase their own personalities through their performance.

Our Hip-hop classes at Diakosmos Dance Academy will focus on perfecting dance precision and timing, as a lot of hip-hop routines require movements to be sharp, strong and in unison. Hip-hop dance steps require skill, determination and practice. Dancers with a good sense of rhythm usually find it easier to learn hip-hop steps.

 In this technique students will:

  • Have fun

  • Perform as an individual and group

  • Develop rhythm and precision
