TEENS CECCHETTI BALLET
What is the class content?
Diakosmos Dance Academy offers teenagers a chance to begin studying Cecchetti Ballet method at a later age.
The Cecchetti ballet method is an internationally recognised and widely used technique that was devised by the Italian ballet master and pedagogue Enrico Cecchetti (1850–1928).
The classes are designed to give students a strong foundation in Cecchetti with a gradual building of skills and technique as they progress.
In this technique, students will:
Develop core skills in posture, flexibility, strength and poise
Develop strong foundations in the Cecchetti Method
Who is the class for?
Our Teens Cecchetti Ballet classes are specifically designed for:
Students from ages 12 and up.
Both male and female students
Aren’t familiar with ballet but would like a challenge.
Students who have wanted to study ballet but feel it is too late to start
To attend additional ballet classes to extend themselves
Enjoy structured dance technique
Students who enjoy performing
Where are the classes held?
Diakosmos Dance Academy is located at 4 Newcastle Street, Thornbury, Melbourne, VIC 3071.
We are near public transport; Bus – Victoria Road, Thornbury-only a short walk. Thornbury Train Station and High Street Trams – only a 20 minute walk to the studio.
